An open line of communication between parents and myself is very important to ensure your child's success in grade 1
Questions / Concerns:
Feel free to drop by our classroom 102 either in the mornings before school, or after school. You can also message me using your child's communication book or using the contact form below. For messages received before 2:30pm you will receive a response the same day. Messages received between 2:30pm and 8am will be replied to the following day by 2:30pm.

Classroom Visits:
We welcome parent involvement in the classroom. If you would like to visit/volunteer please message me ahead of time so we can schedule the best date(s) and time(s).
If you would like to have a classroom birthday party please contact me at least a week and a half in advance to make the necessary arrangements (let specials teachers know, as well as the cafeteria if applicable).

Emergency:
In case of an emergency during the school day please contact the QISS main office and they will contact me and your child.

Medication:
If your child requires medication (temporary or long term) please contact/visit the school nurse. Neither my instructional assistant nor I are trained to administer any kind of medication. Our instructional assistant will be more than happy to accompany your child to the nurses office when/if needed.
